SEC STORMS THROUGH NCAA BASEBALL REGIONAL

Over 290 teams started the season with hopes and aspirations of winning the Division I College Baseball National Title. As of today, only 16 teams remain in the hunt, six of those teams are from the SEC. Yes- Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt all stormed through their Regionals.

It was smooth sailing for LSU and Texas A&M. Those teams needed only three games to win their regionals. Vandy and A&M both won their regionals on the road in hostile environments, taking down No. 1 seeds from other conferences. The SEC came close to having all eight in the Supers but close losses in regional championship games ended both Auburn and Arkansas' seasons. It's crazy that Texas A&M went into this tournament as a No. 3 seed in a regional and will be hosting a Super Regional this coming weekend.

It's very possible that the SEC could have both teams in the national championship series in a couple weeks.
